In order for the unlimited potion effect to work you need to have at least one buff/ unlimited variant of a potion in your main inventory, Hi, if you want to "use" your potion with piggy bank, you need the Alchemist "medal or medallion idont remember" of the mod AlchemistNPC, you need to upgrade it to lvl3, you can quick buff with you potion on your piggy bank, with luiafk you have the passive so you don't need to used it :D.
